I am neither a mouse nor a man, but my plans often go awry, too, especially when unexpected illnesses come along. After following all the proper protocols for more than two years, we succumbed to Covid in September. We had mild cases, relatively speaking, but I have had some lingering effects that have been challenging, to say the least.
Despite my recent illness and subsequent health challenges, I have been busy. In addition to being an author, I am also a freelance writer and copy editor. So, when I’m not making up fun stories about fictitious people, I’m writing or editing nonfiction pieces about interesting real people doing cool things. It’s a different kind of writing, but I truly enjoy it, too, and I love editing and proofreading.
Through it all, I have continued to prepare Book 2 in the Edgemont series for publication. It will be released in the first half of November. Look for a cover reveal on the home page of my website and on my Facebook author page this week! (Would this be considered burying the lede or saving the exciting news for last? I’m going to go with the latter.)
Hope you’re staying healthy and feeling happy!
Take care!
